License suspension
A notice can suspend your license before court
After an arrest or a refused test, a notice may say your license will be suspended on a certain date. You usually have to ask for a hearing, and the time to ask is short.
Armando files the request, prepares the hearing, and works out what a suspension would mean if it can't be stopped.

Papers that help on the first call
The notice
The date on it starts the clock. A photo is enough for the first call.
Your license
The number, and any temporary paper the officer gave you.
Your work schedule
A suspension is about getting to a job. Tell Armando how you drive and when.
Past suspensions
Earlier tickets or DUIs change the options. Share them now, not later.
The suspension, asked plainly
How long do I have to ask for a hearing?
The deadline is short, and it starts on the day of the arrest or the notice, not the day of your court date. The notice you were handed states it. Bring it, or send a photo.
Can I drive while I wait?
It depends on the notice and on whether a hearing was requested in time. Don't guess. Ask before you drive.
What if my license is already suspended?
Driving on a suspension is its own charge. Bring the paper that suspended it, and Armando will look at ways to get back on the road legally.
Bring the paper, or send a photo of it
Armando reads it first and tells you which deadline comes first.
