Sample matters

Three ways a driving case can end

  • Dismissed

    DUI, first charge

The video showed no lawful reason for the stop, and the evidence that followed it was thrown out before trial.

    2025

Sample matter. A stop is judged on its own facts.

  • License kept

    Suspension hearing

The hearing was requested inside the deadline, and the suspension did not take effect.

    2025

Sample matter. The deadline is short, and missing it ends this option.

  • Reduced

    Reckless driving

Lowered to a lesser traffic violation after the client finished a driving course.

    2024

Sample matter. A reduction depends on the charge, the record and the court.

Sample matters, for illustration. Every case is different, and past results don't guarantee a similar outcome.

Charges I take

Start with the paper in your hand

  • Red and white light trails from cars on a wide highway at night

    DUI

An arrest, a breath or blood test, a refusal. I look at the stop first, then the test, then the paperwork.

    DUI defense
  • A hand holding a stamp over a document on a clipboard

    A suspension notice

A notice can suspend your license before you ever see a judge, and the hearing request runs on its own clock.

    License suspension
  • An empty city intersection at twilight with traffic lights

    A serious ticket

Speeding, reckless driving, a crash with a citation, or a commercial license on the line.

    Attorney and owner

Before you call, you may wonder

Will I lose my license?

A DUI arrest can start an administrative suspension that is separate from the criminal case, with its own short deadline to ask for a hearing. Call or text right away so that deadline is not missed. What happens after that depends on your record and the facts.

I was stopped last night. What do I do first?

Write down what you remember: where, when, what you were asked, and what you drank and when. Keep every paper you were handed. Then call or text. The papers show which deadline comes first.

Can you help if I don't speak much English?

Yes. Armando speaks Spanish with clients, in meetings and on the phone, and explains each paper in the language you read best. Court hearings are held in English, and he speaks for you there.

Do I have to come to the office?

Not for the first conversation. A call or a text is enough to start, and you can send photos of your papers once Armando asks for them. Longer meetings can be by phone or at the office on Spencer Highway.

What does it cost?

It depends on the charge and the court. Armando quotes a fee in writing after he has read your papers, before you agree to anything.

Got the paper in your hand?

The sooner Armando sees it, the more choices you have.

Texts aren't private. Please don't send confidential details by text; Armando will ask for them on a call.
